WE ARE READY FOR OUR ADVENTURE!
Greg, Katie & Tigger
We recently sold our Tulsa home and 98% of everything in it. Why? The better question is – why not?
Really, this is Tigger’s retirement plan in action – the perpetual car ride.
We purchased a new home that will go where we go, and named him Maverick because the name means “to go against everyday norms” and “a free spirit”. That is our plan – to be freely abnormal. 🙂 Maverick is a 2023 Grand Design Solitude 390RK fifth wheel. At 42-feet long, this 375 sq ft of coziness will be our home for the next… who knows.
To pull our new home, we purchased a 2021 Ford F-350 Lariat, with oodles of features – long bed, crew cab, DRW, and sweet wheels. She has a pearl white paint job and there is nothing little about her, so we named her Lil’ Pearl and she is Katie’s dream truck.
Where do you find adventure – in the little things, in the big activities? We have learned to joyfully make the best of what comes our way, finding that adventures come from all sorts of opportunities as long as we keep the right perspective. While our final destination will be NE Tennessee, we are anticipating brilliant encounters as we keep ourselves nimble to whatever and wherever God directs us.
TIGGER
Our furry, four-legged child is spoiled in all the best ways because he is loved so much. He turned 10 in March 2023 and his favorite thing to do (outside of walks and car rides) is to play frisbee. He is always checking to make sure his humans are nearby and not getting into any trouble while he is out playing.
GREG & KATIE
We are Disney kids at heart and want to enjoy every moment together. While Greg is still working full-time, Katie has changed professions to a Domestic Engineer. We plan to stay at our DVC timeshare more often that we did previously and enjoy all the magic of Disney World. Katie will be driving the truck and pulling Maverick, while Greg and Tigger take the Jeep to scout out where she should and should not venture. We are so excited about this adventure and are eagerly anticipating spending more time together and following God’s direction.
