Chasing Adventure

In June, I went up to Iowa for a quick weekend to see all my Littles. Sarah didn’t have a regular baby shower, but a “Pregger Kegger”. Bring diapers/wipes and enjoy time with family. I loved being able to see Jason and Sarah, and of course, Riley. I brought up some cases of diapers and wipes and Riley had a blast pushing them around the kitchen to climb up on and sit on. Such a creative little tyke!

At the party, he was hoarding all the balls, but he couldn’t hold them all while he ran around. So I followed him around holding his treasures while he explored, chatted with people, and lived his best life.

It warmed my heart when he chose my lap to climb into for his nap. No photos, but I was in Nana Heaven!

Getting ready to go, the boxes of diapers and leftover keg were loaded into the back of Pearl. Riley thought he should be loaded in too! He didn’t want to get out, just wanted to chill out and read his book. It was so cute. Jason and I messed with him and opened the beer window, but apparently didn’t think that through – he climbed on top of the diaper boxes and through the window. I had to quickly catch him in the backseat. This kid is so funny!

I can’t wait to see him again when I’m up there in August for the birth of Theo!
